When it comes to installing synthetic grass for your specific project, a number of factors can contribute to how long it will take to install your artificial turf.

A general rule of thumb we have here at US Turf is the larger the project, the longer it’ll take for your artificial turf installation. For example, if your project is 300 square feet, we can install it in one day. But, if your project is football field size, then it could take up to 3 days to install. The good news is that you don’t need to be home while we install your synthetic grass.

If you’re looking to replace your real grass or concrete walkway for artificial turf, it will take a couple of days for the removal of all that material for us to install your synthetic grass. Lastly, some projects require curved edges to match your backyard landscape. This won’t prolong your artificial turf installation too much but it does require a little more time as opposed to installing square-edged synthetic grass. Sometimes, we have to install additional materials like aluminum edging or brickwork to create a specific curve.

Next, installing a putting green is a little more complicated than your standard artificial turf installation. A putting green requires installing a curved fringe and putting cups which takes extra time and preparation.

Lastly, if access to your artificial turf installation is fairly straightforward, then there shouldn’t be any extra time added to your project. However, if we are installing artificial turf on a rooftop balcony and having to go up and downstairs, your synthetic grass installation could easily take an extra day.
